Hyderabad, Nov 06 (ANI): Sharp shooter Nawab Asghar Ali Khan who shot down ‘man-eater’ tigress Avni, on Sunday said that he shot the tigress in self-defence. Asghar Ali Khan said, “Tigress Avni was darted 5 times in 2 years but couldn’t be tranquilized. Locals spotted her and we went with intention that no human should be killed. Forest official fired tranquilizing dart but she charged at our vehicle, an open gypsy. I shot her in self-defence.”
