Telangana elections: Rajnath Singh questions CMs on development of Telangana & AP

Asifabad (Telangana), Nov 30 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday questioned the Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, while campaigning for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana’s Asifabad. He said that after the divisions of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the newly formed states were counted among the developed states, whereas the same didn’t happen with Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He said, “When AP was divided it was said that after division development in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh would be speeded up. When Atal Bihari Vajpayee divided the three states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the newly formed states are now counted in developed states of the country. So I want to ask the Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh that why these states are considered among developed states?” The state will go to polls on December 7.
