Hubli (Karnataka), Nov 10 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers held protest against Tipu Sultan’s birth anniversary celebrations in Hubli today. The workers protested by showing black flags. The Congress-JD(S) coalition Government has decided to go ahead with erstwhile Mysore king’s anniversary celebrations. Protests have erupted in parts of Karnataka. Tipu Sultan is regarded as freedom fighter by some, but others consider him as religious bigot.
