1984 anti-Sikh riots case: Delhi High Court dismisses Sajjan Kumar’s plea

New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): The Delhi High Court on Friday dismissed the plea of Congress leader and accused in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case Sajjan Kumar seeking more time to surrender. On December 20, Kumar had file an application in the Delhi High Court in which he sought extension of 30 days to surrender. He has been on bail throughout trial. Advocate HS Phoolka said, “The High Court has rightly rejected it because there is no ground for giving extension. Enough time has been given to him so he has to surrender on Dec 31.”
