New Delhi, Dec 17 (ANI): After the Delhi High Court (HC) gave verdict in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case and sentenced Congress leader Sajjan Kumar to life imprisonment, leaders from different parties backed and supported the statement of High Court. Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, “We thank the court for giving us justice. Our fight will continue till Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler gets a death sentence and Gandhi family is dragged to the court and put in jail.” While on the other side Congress leader Sunil Jakhar said, “No one is above law. Those involved in this crime should be given strictest punishment. Law has taken its own course. It will strengthen people’s trust in law. Any person who has been convicted in such cases should quit their political life.”
