1984 anti-Sikh Riots: Sajjan Kumar had cooperation of the police, says Subramanian Swamy

New Delhi, Dec 18 (ANI): After Sajjan Kumar being convicted in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case by the Delhi High Court (HC) yesterday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy said, “Sajjan Kumar was part of the Congress party when they did not immediately want to prosecute him and they held out this matter for a long time and delayed it. Fact of the matter, that now it’s very easy to disown him but he would not do all this as what he did prior.” “He had cooperation of the police in doing it and if there was no support from the high command of the Congress party then how can he do all this. It is even ridiculous to argue that they (Congress) had nothing to do with it”, he added.
