Jalpaiguri (West Bengal), Dec 26 (ANI): At least two persons died and several others have been hospitalised after consuming holy offerings (prasad) at a festival in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri on Wednesday. All affected have been admitted to a super specialty hospital where they are being treated for food poisoning. Over 100 villagers had consumed the prasad. Several of them started complaining of stomach ache following which they were admitted to the hospital. Out of these, 2 died, some are serious and others are received first aid.
