Nashik (Maharashtra), Dec 13 (ANI): A protest was held by two farmers in Maharashtra’s Satana district on Wednesday. They threw onions on road for not getting good price for their produce. The protest was against steep fall in the wholesale price of onions. The two farmers, Ravindra Birari and Prashant Mahajan, took the extreme step after they were offered a merger amount of Rs 1.5 per kg for their onions, while the actual production cost of the crop was Rs 9 per kg.
