Guwahati (Assam), Dec 05 (ANI): Polling for panchayat elections is underway in Assam’s Guwahati on Wednesday. Voters were seen lining up the queues outside the polling booths. Men and women have come in large numbers to exercise their voting rights. Panchayat polls in Assam will be held in two phases on December 5 and December 9 in 24 districts and 14 civil sub-divisions. Counting of votes will take place on December 12.
