Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 28 (ANI): Three weeks after inspector Subodh Kumar Singh and another man were killed over allegations of cow slaughter in Uttar Pradesh’s Buandshahr, the state police have nabbed the key suspect who shot the cop on December 03. Atul Kumar Srivastava, superintendent of police, Bulandhshahr said, “He has accepted during interrogation that he was the one who fired at Subodh Kumar. Further investigation is underway” The suspect, identified as Prashant Nat, allegedly killed inspector Subodh Kumar Singh with his own service revolver during protests in Bulandshahr. The police had earlier named Bajrang Dal activist Yogesh Raj – who is still on the run – as the prime suspect in Singh’s murder. Sources said Natt was not named in the FIR registered after the incident.
