Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Dec 17 (ANI): Cyclone Phethai made landfall in Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada coastal region on Monday afternoon. Cyclone is likely to intensify further into a severe storm during next 24 hours. Normal life remained affected due to violent winds and heavy rainfall. Several places have been waterlogged. Rainfall recorded till now is 17.80 mm, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD). Locals were shifted to relief camps.
