Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Dec 17 (ANI): Cyclone Phethai is expected to make a landfall this afternoon as rough sea and strong winds are blowing in Kakinada of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh (AP). Cyclone is likely to intensify further into a severe storm during next 24 hours. It is very likely to move towards northwestwards and cross AP coast between Machilipatnam and Kakinada. It had moved further northwestwards with a speed of 16 kmph on December 16, 2018. However, due to unfavourable environmental conditions, it is likely to weaken slightly before landfall and cross coast as a cyclonic storm.
