Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 03 (ANI): Manjot Kohli, a Sikh girl hailing from Jammu and Kashmir’s (J&K) Udhampur district wishes to donate her kidney to a hospital in Soura, J&K. Her father, Gurdeep Singh, objects her decision to donate her kidney and says that she has been brainwashed by some miscreants. Gurdeep Singh said, “When I came to know that a hospital in Srinagar is illegally taking my daughter’s kidney then I sent a legal notice with an affidavit through Mail to the said hospital.” Gurdeep Singh, who claims to be 75 percent physically disabled, said, “My daughter is my future and she is the only helping hand in this old age as my son is employed in a Delhi based private company and earns around Rs 15,000 only. Thousands of Kashmiri people are appreciating her move, but my question is that no one came forward from those people who are appreciating Manjot to donate their Kidney.” “I just want my daughter to come back; I have full faith that her mind has been washed by some miscreants,” added Gurdeep Singh. The father has appealed to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satya Pal Malik to look into the matter and bring her daughter back to him.
