Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 30 (ANI): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti paid a visit to a suspected terrorist’s sister in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday, after she was allegedly harassed by the state police. After meeting Rubina, sister of the suspected terrorist, Mufti warned the state’s Governor and Police that “if the incident is repeated it will be bad for them.” Mufti went to Patipora village of Pulwama to meet Rubina and her husband, who were allegedly harassed by police for being a terrorist’s kin. The visit, however, is seen by many as yet another attempt by Mufti to strengthen her base ahead of assembly elections in the state. The state is expected to vote for a new government by May next year.
