Rajasthan assembly polls: State was deprived from progress under Congress’ rule, says Piyush Goyal

Ajmer (Rajasthan), Dec 3 (ANI): As poll campaign gains momentum in Rajasthan, Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal bombarded at Congress party while asserting several facts and figures. He said, “Between the years 2008-2013, the rate of progress in Rajasthan was quite slow. If we will look at the numbers keenly then it can be easily observed that under the power of Congress party and rule of Ashok Gehlot ji, this state was not at all on the path of development.”
“The entire state was deprived from progress under their reign. Yearly, they have faced the loss of Rs12,000-15,000 crore and they have put the debt of around Rs 75,000 crore on the Discom department of Rajasthan which is quote surprising,” he added.
“5 percent population of the country lives in Rajasthan. But, they were unable to manage the whole state when they were in power. While on the contrary, under the rule of Vasundhara Raje, Scindia ji, this state is actually progressing and developing at a massive scale,” he further stated.
