East Jaintia Hills (Meghalaya), Dec 30 (ANI): Several agencies have joined to speed up rescue operation of 13 miners trapped at a coal mine in Meghalaya’s East Jaintia Hills. “Some other agencies have joined us in the operation; Odisha Fire Services reached here with 10 high pressure pumps, a team of Navy divers has also reached here. I’ve briefed them of the situation”, said Assistant Commandant NDRF SK Singh. The miners are trapped since last two weeks in the mine.
