Mayurbhanj (Odisha), Dec 30 (ANI): In the recent times, the Similipal Tiger Reserve has lost 75 tigers and the number has come down to 28 according to census conducted by the government. The Wildlife Society of Odisha (WSO) had alleged that Similipal had 101 tigers in 2006 and now it has 28. Similipal houses the most number of tigers in Odisha but the numbers of big cats are dwindling here. Poaching cases have also come to fore in Similipal Tiger Reserve. The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) has showed a decline of Tigers in Odisha.
