Sopore (J&K), Dec 13 (ANI): Speaking on Sopore encounter, Deputy Inspector General of Police north Kashmir Atul Kumar Goel on Thursday said, “A search operation was launched based on intelligence inputs. Security forces were fired at during the operation, despite that we gave opportunity to surrender. When they refused, we retaliated and two terrorists were neutralised.”
