Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 26 (ANI): As Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar recorded the coldest night in 11 years and the minimum temperature goes down and resulted in partial freezing of the Dal Lake. The all-time low recorded in the month of December in Srinagar was minus 12.8 degrees Celsius on December 13, 1934. The Valley experiences sub-zero temperature and due to cold wave conditions in the region, Dal Lake got partially frozen. Dal Lake is an integral part for tourism and recreation in Kashmir. It is also the second largest lake in the state.
