Siliguri (West Bengal), Dec 21 (ANI): In a bid to counter smuggling and crime across the border, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Siliguri Frontier has installed modern cameras across Indo-Nepal border at Panitanki to keep a firm check on the security of the area. Other security measures taken by the SSB include installing vehicle recognition cameras which can read the number plates and a baggage scanner. These vehicle recognition cameras are installed to verify the incidents of vehicle being stolen and taken to Nepal. The SSB guards Indo-Nepal and Indo-Bhutan borders. This is the only frontier in SSB Siliguri Frontier which is guarding both the borders.
