‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ row: Freedom of expression cannot thrive on falsehood: Manoj Jha

New Delhi, Dec 28 (ANI): While speaking about the ongoing controversy related to the film, ‘The accidental Prime Minister’, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Manoj Jha said, “The name of the film is ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, but the film is not accidental. The film has been crafted beautifully. Coffers have been opened by the BJP to fund the movie. One has never been heard that a twitter handle of the political party went for a promo kind of thing. Anupam Kher should remember that freedom of expression cannot thrive on falsehood”. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said, “A film is a film. There is freedom of expression. If Congress is asking to ban the film, than they should tell us that why they are demanding it? If there is something wrong, they should tell it”.
