New Delhi, Jan 24 (ANI): While briefing the media about the recently arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists (JeM) Abdul Latif Ganai, Delhi police said, “Through interrogation we got to know that they (JeM terrorists) are the master mind of the grenade attack which has happened recently in J&K. Team of Delhi police rushed to Srinagar after receiving this information and shared this information to J&K police. Delhi police team has recovered two grenades from his house (Abdul Latif Ganai) and his associate terrorist Hilal, who has also been arrested. Because of their timely arrest terror strike has been prevented and J&K cases have also been opened”. He further added, “The initial input of this operation came from Laxmi Nagar about a person to whom suspicious people used to come and meet. Through this information special cell team was working on it. Special team got to know that Abdul Latif Ganai is coming and he got arrested. Abdul Latif Ganai’s father was a surrendered militant. Abdul Latif Ganai has also been arrested many times in stone pelting cases. He works for Abu Mass and according to him Abu Mass is a Pakistani terrorist. Abu Mass handed over many hand grenades to him which were lobbed at many places”.
