New Delhi, Jan 06 (ANI): A 35-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Jhilmil Industrial area of Delhi’s Shahdara on Saturday evening. The deceased has been identified as Hariom Sharma, a resident of Gokulpuri. He worked as supervisor at the same factory where he was shot dead. According to the police, information regarding firing was received at around 8:30 pm. Hariom Sharma sustained bullet shots on head and stomach. He was immediately taken to Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) hospital where doctors declared him dead. Reason of death is yet to be ascertained. Police investigations are underway and Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage is being examined in this case. Police are examining CCTV footage keenly to identify the accused and ascertain the exact sequence of event. A case has also been registered and the matter is being probed.
