Manali (Himachal Pradesh), Jan 02 (ANI): The entire hill-town of Manali is dipped in colour of festivity as 5-day Winter Carnival kicked off today. The Carnival began with cultural processions and 100 tableaus. Local dance forms were performed to promote state’s heritage and culture. The opening ceremony was attended by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. Winter Carnival aims to promote tourism in Manali during winter season.
