Madurai (Tamil Nadu), Jan 27 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that “few people” in Tamil Nadu are creating the atmosphere of “suspicion and mistrust” for their own “selfish interest”. PM Modi’s remarks came in regards to the opposition to 10 percent quota for upper caste poor in Tamil Nadu. “It’s unfortunate that an atmosphere of suspicion & mistrust is being created by a few people in Tamil Nadu to serve their own selfish interest. I urge all of you to remain vigilant against such negativity. Any political thought which opposes poor can’t ever benefit anyone,” PM Modi said while addressing a gathering in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai where he laid foundation stone for an AIIMS.
