BJP Mahila Morcha protest against 2 women entering Sabarimala Temple

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Jan 02 (ANI): After the two women of below 50 age walked into the Sabarimala temple in Kerala in the wee hours of Wednesday, five Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Mahila Morcha members protested against them today. Protestors were stopped from entering the state secretariat by Kerala Police in Thiruvananthapuram. According to the information, the two women started their climb from the Pamba base camp around midnight and reached the Sabarimala Temple after 3:45 am and left after praying to Lord Ayyappa. Those two women became the first to do so since the Supreme Court ordered the end of a decades-old ban on women of menstrual age entering the shrine. The temple was shut down for ritual purification before reopening for devotees.
