Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Jan 08 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs marched to Raj Bhawan on Tuesday to give a memorandum to Governor Anandiben Patel demanding cancellation of election of Assembly Speaker. The BJP has termed the election as ‘illegal’. Heading the BJP’s march, former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “We are in grief because democracy has been murdered and the Constitution has been destroyed MP’s Vidhansabha. We will give memorandum to the Governor that this election is illegal and it should be cancelled.” The ruling Congress party had proposed the name of MLA NP Prajapati who was elected as the Speaker of the15th Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly today. However, Congress had conducted elections in the absence of BJP.
