Chaos erupts in Nepal Parliament as House Speaker denies time for Opposition MPs

Kathmandu (Nepal), Jan 07 (ANI): The parliamentary meeting of Sunday was one of the most awaited, as Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s address was re-scheduled and answer about sworn-in of Resham Chaudhary and Wide-body was expected. With the start of session House, Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara invited Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli for the address in Federal Parliament. With the conclusion of PM’s address Nepali Congress MP’s Dilendra Prasad Badu, Minendra Rijal, Gagan Thapa has raised their hands demanding time. As they were denied time and House Speaker invited Parliament’s Economic Committee President Krishna Prasad Dahal to present a bill. With opposition MP’s on protest demanding for the time to speak, the parliamentary meeting has been adjourned till Wednesday.
