Kullu (Himachal Pradesh), Jan 31 (ANI): Fagli festival was celebrated in snowfall by villagers with traditional fervour in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday. The villagers in old Manali village of Kullu district celebrated this festival with joy and happiness. This festival will continue for the next few days in the district. This is a New Year festival preceding the beginning of Tibetan or Chinese calendar and is celebrated to mark the end of winter or the beginning of spring. It is celebrated in the entire valley on the moonless night or Amavasya.
