Damoh (Madhya Pradesh), Jan 28 (ANI): Farmers in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh are distressed after their crops were destroyed due to hailstorm. Crucial harvest like potato, tomato, chilli crops and other pulse crops have suffered irreparable damage in the region. Agitated farmers gathered outside the Collector’s office and demanded that the government provide them compensation for the loss. Livelihood of farmers has also been a sensitive issue, often an agenda of political parties during elections. Amongst a flurry of promises, the farmers still yearn for a stable income from their profession.
