Ladakh (Jammu and Kashmir), Jan 18 (ANI): Four bodies were recovered from beneath the snow after an avalanche that occurred in Khardung La pass in Ladakh earlier today trapped ten people. Chief Executive Councilor of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Jamyang Tsering Namgyal said, “4 bodies recovered, 6 people are still missing. The rescue operation is still underway. We have spoken to Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Dr Jitendra Singh about the rescue operation being conducted.” Indian Army, Indian Airforce, J-K Police along with SDRF are conducting the rescue operation.
