Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Jan 14 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Monday informed that the government has taken a decision to give 10 percent reservation for economically weaker sections in the general category. This came days after the Centre passed the bill on giving 10 percent reservation for the unreserved category. “We have taken a decision that for recruitment in government jobs in Gujarat from now 10% reservation will be given in government jobs to the economically weaker in general category,” said Vijay Rupani. However, the exams will be conducted according to older norms.
