Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Jan 01 (ANI): The Gujarat government on December 31 asked all schools to ensure that all students respond ‘Jai Hind’ or ‘Jai Bharat’ during roll call, with effect from January 01, 2019. State Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said, “Gujarat government released a notification yesterday, stating that during the roll call in schools students will say ‘Jai Bharat’ or ‘Jai Hind’ instead of ‘yes sir’.” Students of an Ahmedabad based school think that it will instill a feeling of patriotism in them.
