Kolkata, Jan 15 (ANI): Students of Jadavpur University staged a protest in campus demanding expulsion of Professor Kanak Sarkar over his remarks made in a Facebook post. A student during the protest said, “We want his expulsion as he is influencing young minds we don’t want misogynistic environment here. He’s a repeat offender.” Professor Kanak Sarkar, who teaches International Relations, in a series of Facebook post compared virgin girls to a “sealed bottle of cold drink or a packet of biscuit” and commented that to men, “virgin wife is like an angel”.
