Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 12 (ANI): For the first time in history, the ‘Kinnar Akhara’ is participating in the yet to commence Kumbh Mela of 2019. After facing troubles to acquire permission to set up a place for itself at the Mela, it was finally granted the permission. Secretary of ‘Kinnar Akhara’, Pavitra, appreciating public’s acceptance said, “Public and all the devotees who are here have supported us and shown lot of respect for us. We are happy that people here have accepted us.” The members of the Akhara are already attracting attention. Dancing and devotion can be seen in the environment of their tents. The head of the Akhara too is reveling in the attention, meeting and blessing devotees.
