Ahmedabad/ Rajkot (Gujarat), Jan 09 (ANI): The festival of Uttarayan is nearing and state of Gujarat is all set to celebrate it with various new messages written on the Kites. Kites with various political and social messages are being sold in the market this year. Markets in Rajkot decked up with kites carrying images of politicians including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress party President Rahul Gandhi, ahead of Makar Sankranti. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular face seen on various kites. Along with PM Narendra Modi this time Statue of Unity and ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ message are also witnessed on the kites in the city. The shopkeepers are expecting to sell their kites and earn good profit margin with Narendra Modi’s pictures on it.
