Porompat (Manipur), Jan 03 (ANI): Mushroom cultivation has been making progress in generating income in Manipur. The people of Manipur have become more aware about its potential to earn huge profits and finding out better techniques to cultivate more mushrooms in less time. A man from Porompat city, Thawan Thaba Leikai, has designed a mushroom cultivation machine. It has proved to be successful invention and also has provided employment to many in agriculture sector. The favourable climatic conditions have provided ample opportunities for the youth to take farming as a business for better sustainability. On an average, 20-30 kgs of mushrooms are being produced daily.
