Kinnaur (Himachal Pradesh), Jan 04 (ANI): Normal life has come to a standstill after cold wave tightened its grip on the hill state of Himachal Pradesh. Water started to freeze in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district. Minimum temperature forecast in Kinnaur is -14°C and maximum temperature is -3°C, as recorded on January 04. The temperature dipped so low that waterfalls have started to freeze; fresh crystals of water have formed on leaves of the plants and trees in the city. Locals are facing problems due to lack of useable water as waters in the pipelines have already frozen. People light bonfire to keep themselves warm in this extreme cold.
