New Delhi, Jan 01 (ANI): After the Gujarat government asked all schools on Monday to ensure that students respond with “Jai Bharat” or “Jai Hind” during roll call from January 1, While speaking to ANI, Union Textile Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Smriti Irani said, “Speaking as a Member of Parliament (MP) from Gujarat, if you are saying that Opposition’s contention is that by saying ‘Jai Hind’ you are being regressive then I rather embrace my nation and celebrate its prominence and say ‘Jai Hind’.” “The fact that the Opposition finds it ridiculous to hail your country just shows their mentality and not that of the Gujarat government.”
