Muzaffarabad, PoK Jan 15: A large number of local residents and political activists took to the streets of Muzaffarabad against the construction of Neelum-Jhelum hydro power project in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). The protest was organized by United Kashmir National Students Organisation the Student wing of the United Kashmir People’s National Party (UKPNP). They shouted slogans against the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) to demand immediate ban on the construction of the power project on the rivers, which is the prime source of water in the region.
