New Delhi, Jan 28 (ANI): For the formal ending of Republic Day festivities, the area around Vijay Chowk which also includes the Parliament was lit up on the eve of Beating Retreat ceremony. The Beating Retreat ceremony is a military ceremony which denotes the end of Republic Day festivities and is conducted on January 29. All three wings of the military: Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force, take part in it.
