East Jaintia Hills (Meghalaya), Jan 02 (ANI): Rescue efforts continued for the 21st day, as 13 miners who were trapped in a coal mine of Meghalaya’s East Jaintia Hills, are still to be evacuated safely. The Indian Navy, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and other agencies have stepped up efforts to rescue the trapped miners. The Odisha Fire Service, too, has joined the rescue operation.
