Teacherless school in J&K’s Udhampur remains closed for more than two months

Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir), Jan 30 (ANI): A government primary school in Takki area of Jammu and Kashmir’s (J&K) Udhampur district is closed for more than two months, owing to absence of teachers who are getting salaries from State Treasury. The school was established in 2004. Locals say, “40-50 children study here. No teacher comes here. No one takes note of our problem. Children’s future is getting affected.”
