Mumbai, Jan 13 (ANI): Transgender community took to streets of Mumbai to protest against the recently passed Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Bill in Lok Sabha on Sunday. Various transgender groups associated with Kinnar Maa Trust, an NGO which works for the development of transgender community, gathered at the August Kranti Maidan to demand the revocation of the bill. From raising slogans such as ‘ek-do ek-do, TG Bill phenk do’ to singing the national anthem and ‘we shall overcome’ song, the transgender community put their demand during what they called pink rally.
