Villagers mourn death of crocodile in Chhattisgarh’s Bemetara

Bemetara (Chhattisgarh), Jan 12 (ANI): Villagers in Chhattisgarh’s Bawa Mohtara village in Bemetara district mourned the death of around 130-year-old crocodile named ‘Gangaram’. Gangaram was deeply revered by the villagers and the villagers buried him with love and respect. People from surrounding villages also came to pay tribute to the crocodile. The villagers were friendly with Gangaram as they used to share the same pond. Police and administration arrived immediately after villagers informed them of Gangaram’s death.
