Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 15 (ANI): Thousands of devotees thronged at the ghats of Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi on Tuesday. They took holy dip in river Ganga on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Observed each year in January, Makar Sankranti is a festival day in the Hindu calendar dedicated to deity Surya.
