Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir), Jan 12 (ANI): Wreath laying ceremony of Major SV Nair, who lost his life in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast on Friday, was performed in Jammu today. IED blast took place at Nowshera sector in J&K. An improvised explosive device was planted by suspected militants in the foot-track along the Line of Control (LoC) to target army soldiers patrolling the borderline in Laam belt of Nowshera sector of Rajouri district. The blast resulted in injuries to two soldiers, including Major SV Nair. Later he was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
