Showcasing this unification of faiths in the country, a mosque in Gujarat had recently opened an exhibition for the people to give them an overall perspective of rituals performed in Islam religion. Take a look. A mosque in Gujarat has recently opened its doors for people across all religions. Masjid Umar Bin Khattab located in Rakhial area has started an exhibition where people from any religion can come and witness the ritualistic activities performed in the Mosque. The exhibition showcases different manifestations of Quran as understood by the followers of Islam since ages. Walls in the mosque were covered with posters illustrating methods and traditions practiced by Muslims during their daily offerings of Namaz. A Namaz session was also organized for the visitors who were keen on learning Islamic traditions and looking for oneness among diverse faiths. The main motto behind organizing this event is that, there are people following different faiths reside in our country unfortunately a lot of people do not about different religions. The main reason behind organizing this exhibition in the mosque is that the people belonging to different religions get to learn about each other’s faith. The initiative undertaken by the mosque to bring different religions closer was well absorbed and appreciated by the visitors. Events like these happening across the country play a major role in strengthening the secular fabric of our country.
