Guwahati (Assam), Jan 31 (ANI): All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) held a massive candlelight protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill in Guwahati. Student body’s protest has intensified against the bill in recent days. The bill proposes citizenship to migrants belonging to minority groups Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan who have stayed in India since last six years. The bill was passed in Lok Sabha.
