Had demonetisation failed, 18-20 percent growth in taxpayers wouldn’t be possible: Piyush Goyal

New Delhi, Feb 01 (ANI): Acting Finance Minister Piyush Goyal said demonetisation and Goods and Services Tax (GST) did not give body blow to the Indian economy and instead made possible the 18-20 percent growth in taxpayers. The implementation of GST made Indian economy into a single market, Goyal said in an exclusive interview to ANI Editor Smita Prakash.
